Hey folks, going to be diving into another project. I've also released my previous project for free for anyone who is interested in trying out my first launch of a game(its actually kinda scary). Any-who lets jump into this project. 
My idea for this game will be try to survive "X" amount of rounds. It will be hopefully 40+ rounds altogether. With many dynamic gameplay factors including difficulty, environment, player debuffs / buffs, and designing the bosses in a unique way where he will fight a different strategy each time you fight him, though I have never attempted a boss yet so knock on wood I do hope that turns out well :P!

  So far I have a few systems set up already for the basics, which include;

  • something to spawn hordes of zombies,
  • a timer to call the spawn whenever a new round begins,
  • models which dynamically change each of the zombies clothing on spawn,


  • a drag and drop style inventory with an equipped UI,
  • a few weapons to choose from (( Melee: Sword/Axe, Guns: Shotgun/Pistol ) The guns are basically working as intended, with ammo count and ammo pick ups already easily implemented, but the melee weapons will take some working on for me to be satisfied with that lol. The few attacks on the melee weapons have come out great and I am using a plug in to help with the standard tracing methods used in unreal. The plug in is  working absolutely phenomenal and the sword attacks are very smooth. The axe needs the animations looked at, they seem a little scuffed but should be an easy fix!
    Also added some extra damage calculates, 1.5x damage headshots and 1.5x damage if you are close with the shotgun, also if you use the widespread mode on shotgun you will deal 1.5x damage all calculating together accurately from what I have tested. ( 4.5x max multiplier on shotgun for example ) 

    anyway I'm gonna go work on my project haha, I've spent about 25~ hours already on it a LOT of debugging because I am new ^^.

    Disclaimer** This is intended to be just a single-player experience and is being coded for such. I know every game is better with multiplayer but I am just not there yet sadly... soon though!!
